On Girls' Day, which is organized by the Kompetenzzentrum Technik-Diversity-Chancengleichheit e. V. in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, companies, universities and organizations throughout Germany open their doors to introduce schoolgirls to professions in which women have so far been underrepresented - especially in the fields of technology, IT, crafts and natural sciences. The aim is to arouse enthusiasm, break down prejudices and highlight new career opportunities.
At Baumer hhs, we also show the participants the diverse areas of application and tasks of our training professions. From production and development to commercial activities - our colleagues provide practical insights and answer all questions about starting a career. It is particularly important to us to encourage schoolgirls to take an interest in technical professions and discover their own strengths.
Girls' Day is a valuable opportunity for us every year to show young people the fascination of our industry.
