It is with great gratitude and deep sadness that we bid farewell to Hans-Henning Sasse, company founder, namesake, and pioneer of our industry.

Hans-Henning Sasse was not only the visionary founder of hhs, but also a true pioneer of technological developments in industrial adhesive application. With his tireless curiosity, entrepreneurial courage, and passion for precision, he laid the foundation for what Baumer hhs is today: a leading global supplier of intelligent adhesive application systems.

To this day, his name stands for innovation, vision, and the relentless pursuit of better solutions. Even in the early years, Hans-Henning Sasse recognized the enormous potential of contactless adhesive application—at a time when many in the industry were still sticking to the tried and true. With this conviction and a keen sense for technical details, he developed systems that redefined standards.

But Hans-Henning Sasse left a lasting impression not only as a technical pioneer. He was also an outstanding personality on a human level: warm-hearted, clear in his convictions, and always close to his employees and partners. For many, he was a mentor, a source of inspiration, and a driving force.

His life's work lives on today – in every system produced under the Baumer hhs name, in every product based on his ideas, and in the culture of our company, which he played a key role in shaping.
