For a long time now, Baumer hhs has focused on and committed itself to career opportunities for women. So it is only logical that Baumer hhs participates in the mentoring program of the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with the Unternehmerschaft Niederrhein and LLiT. Recently, ten female industrial engineering graduates met their mentors at the kick-off event.
The ambitious young women are thus assisted by executives from companies in the Lower Rhine region, who now meet monthly with the mentees, who have little professional experience to date, to exchange ideas and provide them with support. Baumer hhs plant manager Frauke von Knoop is looking forward to sharing her experiences with her mentee and accompanying her. The mentoring program "Taking the lead as a woman" will initially run until September 2023 and then be expanded.
