It has become a tradition for Baumer hhs and its employees to collect donations for Villa Sonnenschein and the support association for the benefit of children with cancer throughout the year. Baumer hhs employees have the opportunity to purchase disused company office equipment and technology. Every year, 100% of the proceeds go towards the donation. In addition, the management awards prizes for employees' ideas on the subject of sustainability and energy saving, many of which donate their prize money.
This year, €4,300 was collected for the benefit of Villa Sonnenschein in Krefeld, which Thomas Guthardt presented to the association. As an extra surprise, he brought along many gift baskets from employees, which will make the eyes of the Villa Sonnenschein residents light up.
