hhs Systems and its unique Xtend® series offer modular and extendable controllers for precise glue dispensing on folding carton machines. Its integrated touch screen display allows for quick and simple set-up and monitoring of the gluing process. The unit can be fitted with optional Xtend control and monitoring features and a link to the machine control. These plug and play modules enable Xtend to monitor side seams or nozzle applied glue lines of hotmelt or cold glue on any material. A range of sensors offer an endless list of detection ranging from length checks or reading of barcodes to a multitude of glue detection options.

The new cold glue application gun series P-500 can now process even greater variety of dispersions. When using higher viscosity glues neither switching frequency, nor accuracy of application are affected negatively. This gun fulfils the risen needs for a cold glue gun in today’s folding carton industry.

The new hotmelt application gun series HP-500 with integrated electro pneumatic drive unit offers a high cycle rate with improved glue bead cut-off, extended service life and easy maintenance. The HP-500 bridges the gap between the speed-restricted electro pneumatic gun and the viscosityrestricted fast acting electric gun. The compact design allows mounting in confined spaces.
